AI Disclosure

Palm Build uses artificial intelligence ("AI") tools to help us respond to customers and prospects more quickly and consistently. This AI Disclosure explains, in plain language, where AI is used across the Palm Build customer experience, what safeguards are in place, and how you can always reach a human. This page supplements — and does not replace — the AI-related provisions of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

Palm Build currently uses AI in the following places: • AI Chat Assistant on our Website Answers questions, provides information about our services, helps you request service or a quote, and can schedule appointments or callbacks. • AI Voice Assistant on our Phone Lines When you call us, your call may be answered or assisted by an automated AI voice assistant that can route your call, answer common questions, provide information about your project or claim, schedule appointments or callbacks, and take a message when our team is busy or after hours. • AI-Assisted SMS/MMS Some scheduling and follow-up text messages may be drafted, sent, or replied to with the help of our AI assistants (sent through our messaging platform provider, currently Twilio). • Internal Tools We use AI to help our team draft responses, summarize call recordings and transcripts, and organize project information. These internal uses are subject to human review before any binding communication is sent.

Our AI chat and AI voice assistants identify themselves as automated systems where required by applicable law, including California Business and Professions Code §17940 et seq. ("SB 1001"). You can always ask to speak with a live team member — for example, by replying HUMAN in chat or SMS, saying "agent" or "representative" to the voice assistant, or calling us directly at (888) 245-5155.

Palm Build uses its AI voice assistant only for calls you place TO us. Palm Build does not use its AI voice assistant to place automated marketing or sales calls to you. Outbound calls placed by Palm Build are placed by human team members or, in the case of transactional automated notifications, are made with your prior express written consent as described in our Terms of Service and SMS Terms.

AI-generated responses are for general information and convenience only. They may be incomplete or inaccurate. They are NOT professional, legal, or insurance advice, and they DO NOT create, modify, or confirm any contract, estimate, price, scope of work, or authorization. Binding decisions — pricing, scope of work, service acceptance or denial, claim decisions — are made by Palm Build personnel, not by AI. You may request a live team member at any time. If you request escalation to a human, the AI assistant will hand off the conversation or take a message and route it to a Palm Build team member as promptly as reasonably possible during business hours.

Conversations with our AI chat and AI voice assistants may be recorded, transcribed, and stored. This information is treated as described in our Privacy Policy, including our practices for two-party consent states, call-recording notices, retention periods, and safeguards.

We do NOT permit our AI service providers to use your chats, calls, recordings, or transcripts to train their general-purpose foundation models. Content submitted through our AI tools is processed only to serve you and, where applicable, to improve Palm Build's own workflows in a controlled manner. Where our providers offer a "zero-retention" or "no-training" mode, we make commercially reasonable efforts to enable it.

Our AI tools are built on top of trusted third-party AI service providers, currently including OpenAI and Anthropic, together with our messaging platform provider Twilio for voice and SMS delivery. These providers process information on our behalf, subject to their terms of service, privacy commitments, and data-protection agreements with Palm Build. Our current subprocessor list is described in the "Service Providers and Subprocessors" section of our Privacy Policy.

Palm Build's AI does not: • Bind Palm Build to a contract, estimate, or price • Make final decisions about pricing, scope, or service denial • Perform biometric identification or generate voiceprints for identification • Place automated outbound marketing calls • Give medical, legal, insurance, or tax advice • Sell or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes

You may: • Request a live team member at any time • Opt out of AI-drafted SMS marketing by replying STOP (transactional SMS may still be sent as needed to deliver Services you have requested) • Ask us not to use recordings or transcripts of your interactions for internal quality or training purposes (email admin@palmbld.com with your request) • Exercise your privacy rights as described in our Privacy Policy
